'Mist, ephemeral,
barely breathes across
the surface of the sea and blinks away.
Morning mulls along the shoreline
hugging the sea;
clouds floating in add to the serenity.
Colored seashells scattered on the sand, glitter and
sparkle when
touched by my hand.'
Seascapes
are a favorite subject of mine. The shimmering light and movement
of the sea is
an ideal vision
to capture on canvas.
Over the weeks and months ahead I will be offering a wide variety of different subjects including cats, birds, flowers, landscapes, fantasy works, and people. So be sure to check back often!
About this picture:
This aceo is based on one of my larger paintings. Creating a smaller version of this painting, allows me to share my work with a greater number of people, at a more affordable price.
The paint medium I mix into the paint is based on a recipe that is over 300 years old! I use it because it produces a rich stained glass effect. When the painting is placed under a spotlight the optical effects are truly dazzling!
Each work of art comes with a Certificate of Authenticity printed on acid-free, 100% cotton paper. The artwork is titled, dated and signed on the back.
I use only the highest quality paints and canvas so my paintings will last for many generations, making them a perfect purchase to pass down to your family and loved ones.

About the Artist:
My name is Lad Luckskind. I grew up in a 230 year old house in RI where I still live. And though I cannot explain why I create art, I know that it is what I was born to do.
My art encompasses my whole being with all the depth of feelings and emotions coming together at once, so it has been a natural evolution for me to paint subjects that evoke strong emotions and yet still have what I would refer to as: “the silence of an icon.”
I have always believed
that art is about creating
a connection between
the viewer and the artist, so please take a look at some of my works and see for yourself if they
are somehow connecting with something inside
of you. If they are, then something very special
is happening, and that special 'something' is
what I have been
working for my
entire life.
