The Item:

This is an original, hand-crafted work of art presented in ACEO format (2.5” x 3.5”).  I am the artist, Daniel S. Napolitano, and my initials appear in the lower, left-hand corner of the painting.  My full signature, along with the date of signing, will appear on the back of the painting.  A  ‘Letter of Authenticity’ will accompany the item.

Materials:

This painting was created using Winsor & Newton professional quality oil paint, applied to unprimed, Fredrix light weight, Archival canvas sheeting.  For additional support, the canvas sheeting has been mounted to a panel of acid-free, Strathmore Bristol Board.  This application was performed using Elmer’s ‘Craft Bond’ Adhesive- an acid-free compound.

Finish:

The surface of this piece is treated with a protective layer of Micador, acid-free, matt varnish (400gsm).  This is to prevent damage from moisture, tarnish and ware.  Also, this finish will aid in the preservation of color fastness.  If cared for properly, this item will last indefinitely.

Shipping

I do not believe in gouging the customer with shipping charges!!!

I buy things on EBay too.

I ship inexpensively, safely and as quickly as possible.

First Class Mail, within 48 hrs of Payment Clearance.

Handling

Your item will be shipped in a stiff, Archival Quality Card Holder.

…to prevent bending, punctures and all other related damage.

This card holder is acid-free, and is also ideal for use in long-term storage.

The Card Holder will be Wrapped in a Plastic Seal.

…to prevent Water Damage, and to add an extra layer of Padded Protection.

The sealed card holder is then placed and shipped in a bubble wrap envelope.

...for added protection.

Return Policy: Shop with Confidence!

If you are unsatisfied with the workmanship of your item, and would like a refund, please contact me via e-mail immediately and let me know that you intend to return it.  I will accept returns postmarked within seven days of the date of your e-mail.  Once I receive the returned item, I will refund your money, including any additional shipping charges that may have accumulated.  If you would like a replacement item instead of a refund, I will send it immediately, free of shipping.  Items lost or damaged in the Mail: Your item left my hands in pristine condition and I’ve taken every possible step to insure its future safety.  However, if it arrives damaged -or- if does not arrive at all- I will refund your money and all shipping fees if delivery confirmation was requested at the end of the auction.  Of course, the post office charges an additional fee for delivery confirmation.  This fee is usually minimal but it must, in turn, be added to your shipping costs at the end of the auction.  Since I back my envelopes with cardboard, the item is considered to be an unbendable parcel.  This allows for the purchase of delivery confirmation without the additional cost of shipping it Priority.  If delivery confirmation is not requested, and the item arrives damaged, I can either repair it or replace it for the cost of the additional shipping fees (e-mail me and send it back postmarked within seven days of the confirmation e-mail).  If delivery confirmation is not requested, and the item does not arrive at all, there’s not a whole lot I can do about it.  I need to be able to track it to confirm that it did not arrive at your address.
