ACEO Theme Week (TW) Painting Stamped Quilt Altered Art

"Italian Sketchbook"

This is one of my entries for November Theme Week (search ACEO TW on eBay). This is a monthly themed art contest run by the Art Cards, Editions and Originals (ACEOs) group. 
 
This month, the theme is "World Countries or Cultures".

Original  ACEO / ATC Quilt / Fiber Art

This is an original, not a print.

Size: 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Media: Acrylic paint, postage stamps, fabric, thread, ink

Series: Theme Week

Another Italian-themed card, this one starting with a background of yellow and gold acrylic paint, onto which I have collaged vintage postage stamps and stamped postal images, highlighted with gold metallic stitching.

On the back is a wonderful fabric featuring images of Italy, wrapped around to the front and forming a tiny binding to this little quilt.
