Don't pay for the fancy frames of other filters! (It's a filter, not a painting). Others charge more for a fancy frame, which only blocks air flow! Thier wide frames take up to 3 inches away from the filter area. We use 1/2" frames for maximum air flow.

Ours are 100% electrostatic grid layers. Others use a fluffy material held in by a metal mesh and other materials that are not electrostatic grids.

• TECH TIP whatever you do DO NOT use those throw-away, fiberglass, cheap filters. These do a poor job of filtering the air, make your indoor unit, coil and duct a mess, and lead to poor air quality. Buy a filter here, or buy a paper pleated throw-away filter (expensive, because you keep having to buy them) or use an air cleaner system. RULE OF THUMB: If you can see through your filter, don't use it!
