We also sell several other makes and models of Reel To Reel decks, so please check our Ebay store to view our current inventory. We employ a pair of technicians that "FINE TUNE" our reel to reel machines. We don't just make sure they record and play, we meticulously go over each machine. We set levels and tape bias using test calibration tapes and tone generators. On this unit, we replaced ALL transistors. Akai decks are notorious for weak transistors that will give you distorted audio or that fail resulting in loss of sound completely.

Very low hours on the heads.This unit features Glass Ferrite Heads - they don't wear out like stainless steel or aluminum.

Direct Drive - no belts to wear out

This unit will be carefully packaged  to arrive safely and will include insurance. It will be bubble wrapped, and put into a large box and filled on all sides with packing peanuts. SAFE SHIPPING!

This unit produces high quality recordings at 3 1/4 and 7 1/2 ips.
