The broad 20Hz 20kHz frequency response has a carefully-crafted, gentle rise starting at 5kHz peaking at +4 dB at 10kHz to bring the sound forward in the mix and give vocals and acoustic instruments presence. The Perception 400 has a die-cast brass housing; dent-resistant, stainless-steel grille; a gold-plated 3-pin XLR connector; and comes with a shockmount and locking metal road case.
