A United Kingdom import of 18 tossed-aside songs that Willie Mitchell deemed unsuitable for release as a B-side or album cut. Hard to fathom why cause this collection will please Al Green and Southern soul fans, and the selections would have been A/B-sides or at least album cuts for lesser artists. Tracks like "Nothing's Impossible With Love," "Love Ritual," Jimmy Reed's "Baby What's Wrong With You," "I Think It's for the Feeling (It's Alright)," and "Love Is Real," if gave the chance, would have danced all over the charts. Mitchell experiments with Green's sound at times, but everything's undeniably prime Al Green. The last song, the 15-minute-and-nine-second "Beware," is like a refreshing after dinner mint -- Pure Al.
