About This Piece:

No references were used to create this. This is something I created entirely on my own.

This Unicorn Stallion is painted on a 8x10 quality acid free primed flat canvas panel. The best quality pre-tested Grumbacher oils were used to create this. It is ready to frame. Would look great with any horse or unicorn collection. It would also make a nice decorative item or gift.

The front and back will be signed and dated by me. It will also come with its own EBSQ certificate of authenticity, also signed by me, Janelle Dixon. It has been given a coat of varnish for longevity.

About the Artist:

Currently, I am an artist working out of my own home. I raise rabbits, and pigeons. I also have two cats, a cockatiel, a Quaker parrot, and some fish.

I can paint commissioned pet portraits upon request (see ebay store, or EBSQ profile for more details). I have shown my art all over my county in the past, including our county fair. I also show at the St. Joe County, and hillsdale county fairs every year.

A lot of my work is painted to compete and show. I have won several best in shows, and honorable mentions from showing at the county fairs.

My art has been sold to, and collected in other counties as well as the US.

I am also a member of the Branch County art guild, a large group of artists in the southern part of Michigan that is dedicated to showing and promoting original works of art. I have exhibited my art through them at the tibbitts opera house, and various other locations in the past. Our group even painted a mural in downtown Coldwater MI, of which I was very actively involved in.

I am also EBSQ certifified and participate in alot of their online art shows.

Each of my paintings comes with its own EBSQ certificate of authenticity, signed by me.
