NM = Near Mint - A nearly perfect or unplayed record. There may be one or two small inaudible defects. Record shows no obvious signs of wear. Cover is nice and new looking with no ring wear.

VG++ = Only slight signs of wear; very clean, only a few light surface marks which will not distract from the sound. Cover has only slight wear, and is still in nice collectible condition.

VG+ = Record shows some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took very good care of it. Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening pleasure. Cover likewise will look very nice with mild signs of wear.
