ALASKA RAILROAD - DEMI CUP & SAUCER - MCKINLEY - MINT

• Manufacturer:  Shenango China 
• Year of production:  1920's to 1930's (based on backstamp design) 
• Pattern:  McKinley 
• Topmark/Logo: Yes - "ALASKA RAILROAD" within a banner beneath a scene of Mt. McKinley within a circle - "Mt. McKinley Park Hotel" above the circle, and "UNITED STATES - DEPARTMENT INTERIOR" along the top border. Border designs are black and yellowish-tan colors, with a yellowish-tan trim line on outside. The RR logos and border design/trim lines are clear and bright, with no blurring or discoloration on both the demi cup and saucer - PERFECT
• Backstamps: Saucer: "Shenango China - New Castle, PA." beneath a full seated indian.  Cup: "Shenango China - New Castle, PA. - U.S.A." (the cup backstamp is very light in color and the camera would not focus on the printing, so no photo is attached) 
• Measurements: Demi cup is 2 3/8" wide at the rim, 1 1/4" wide at the base, and 2 1/8" deep. Saucer is 4 3/4" wide and 3/4" deep  
• Condition: Mint condition - Topmark logo and border designs are bright and clear. No utensil/usage marks - glaze is perfect - no discoloration, age spotting, chips, cracks, crazing, or manufacturing flaws 
• Additional Comments:  Beautiful demi cup and saucer set of Alaska RR china - very attractive pattern, and very rare
