Message to Bill Wilson
This is the single most valuable item that I have ever listed on Ebay. Perhaps the most important and historically significant A. A. item ever offered on Ebay. I know of only one item that compares with this in value and rarity and that was the printers copy of the manuscript for Alcoholics Anonymous. That items sold for over a million dollars.
Copies of this recording have been distributed by Bill O'N back in the 80 es.

About the recording:
Back in June 1947 a member from the Detroit Group, George H a sponsee of Archie T founder of A. A. in Detroit, stopped by to visit Dr. Bob and Anne Smith. He brought with him a "Wire Recorder", Dr. Bob and his wife Anne were both recovering from surgery.
George brought the recorder up to their bedroom and had Dr. Bob, Anne, Bob Jr, and his wife Betty all say a few words to Bill & Lois Wilson. The Wilson's had invited Dr. Bob & Anne to visit them in New York and in this recording Dr. Bob and Anne let Bill and Lois know how disappointed they are to not be able to go. This is a short five minute message but nevertheless has tremendous historic value because it is one of three know recording's of Dr. Bob and possibly the only recording of Anne.
THIS RECORDING BELONGED TO BILL WILSON AND WAS KEPT IN HIS PERSONAL LIBRARY
Included with this auction are three letters from Lois Wilson to Bill O'N mentioning the wire recording's that she sent which belonged to Bill W.
I have another letter from Nell Wing, thanking Bill O for sending a copy to the GSO.
The only known talks of Dr. Bob co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous are his last major talk made in Detroit Mi, and his Farewell message given in Cleveland, OH at the first international convention in 1950 shortly before he passed away and this one.
