ALF ORIGINAL PRODUCTION BACKGROUND ANIMATION CELL ART
ORIGINAL 1980s COLOR ARTWORK - ON ILLUSTRATION BOARD  

  Up for auction is an awesome piece of cartoon history, an original production background from the animated ALF series - from the 1980s. The painted area measures about 5" x 6.5", done on illustration board that measures about 7" x 8.5".

  The caption at the bottom says: ALF    Home Away From Home   Lloyd's Office    Sc. 230-237

  As a fine artist myself, I can say that the quality of the artwork is very high, as details are are very tightly done even when looked at closely. The "office" shows forced perspective, the walls of which have been skillfully airbrushed, and the Dr. Seuss inspired furniture has been hand painted and inked. Colors are vibrant, and the piece has been protected with a piece of acetate for all these years. Totally original, authentic and one of a kind. This is hand painted, not a copy. The artist is unknown, sometimes these are signed and sometimes not.

  Domestic shipping to the lower 48 States will be $4.95 via USPS First Class, plus insurance at Postal rates, and I will offer reduced shipping charges for those who win more than one piece.

I use the USPS almost exclusively, and ship via the appropriate service.
