Alphonse Mouzon - "Love's Fantasy" (on CD it's titled "Love, Fantasy", but this is the vinyl LP) (Optimism, 1987). With Ray Parker, Jr and Nathan East. FACTORY SEALED, with cut corner at upper right. Cover is NM.

AMG Review by Scott Yanow: With such titles as "Baby Let Me Do It," "Get Down With the Funk" and "Shake It Baby," it is not surprising to find out that much of this date by drummer Alphonse Mouzon is R&B-oriented. Three numbers are dominated by vocals, and Mouzon utilizes electronic percussion in places. However, there are some good alto solos from Brandon Fields, and the band fares well on "Milestones." A mixed bag, originally put out by Optimism and now available as a CD on the drummer's Tenacious label.
