AMAZING OVER THE TOP BEADED FRINGE NECKPIECE CAPE

After creating works of art in cross-stitch for 40 years, I have turned my attention to beading the last couple of years. Initially dabbling and practicing, this creation caught my eye in a beading magazine and I took the plunge into the world of beading. Luckily my patience was well honed in the cross-stitch world, because it came in handy with this project. There are over 30,000 beads in the fringe ALONE! Made with top quality beads and thread, I took special care to make sure that it had a quality finish. They are clear beads beaded on K-O white thread. The designs on the netting are silver coated beads and Swarovski crystals. The fringe is also layered with Swarovski crystals. It is meant to be worn on an angle so the fringe hangs at a point in the back. It fastens at one side with a lovely sterling silver clasp. The fringe hangs down to the waist or longer, depending on your height. The neckline is meant to be folded gracefully. The opening is 18". The body is 8" long and the fringe is 10" long. This would go beautifully over a black or gold form fitting outfit. Also, this would make a most unique centerpiece over a simple strapless wedding dress or sarong. As you can see, I also have an example of the necklpiece over red and purple. VERY STRIKING!
