Up for auction is an INCREDIBLE vintage Porcelain Lady HALF DOLL (Pin Cushion Doll) - fresh from a better Estate .. Art Deco FLAPPER Era beauty .. COMPLEX mold - open returning ARMS AWAY - GRACEFUL pose - life like Hands - DELICATE facial detailing - PRECISE hand painting - lots of Eye make-up - space between realistic Red lips - contoured Neck - HAIR not just painted Black but protrudes from face - COMPLEX clothing with a 3 layer skirt .. I can't say enough about her - one of the FINEST Dolls I've had - see all 13 photos also .. ELEGANT and AWESOME .. a MUST for the discriminating collector - offered with NO RESERVE!

DOLL is in EXCELLENT condition - no chips, cracks or repairs - small speck of extra porcelain on her right hand Pinkie finger (no big deal - mentioned for accuracy) - SUPERB hand painted facial detailing with very little if any loss - DRESS (Clothing) is in VERY GOOD condition - 3 layers - TOP Red layer of fancy Netting has a few holes - 2nd layer of Rayon / Silk voile with a BOLD Art Deco Pansy like FLOWER print is in GREAT condition - 3rd layer Slip is Pink crepe with a Lace bottom border (GOOD condition with a few small holes) - Halter top is sewn up the Back with a Neck strap .. totally AWESOME doll - a SWEET piece - THE BEST! .. DOLL measures about 3 1/2" high - 3" hand to hand .. I haven't removed her clothes (and I don't plan to) so I can't tell if she's marked - judging by her detailing I'm almost positive she's German (made in Germany) - there's a hand painted mark inside that I can't make out (see photo) - her facial painting looks like the Artistry of Dressl & Kister - COMPLEX mold like Ernst, Bohn & Sohne - I can't say for certain who made her but I can say she's a BEAUTY - a GORGEOUS vanity Half Doll - EXCEPTIONAL quality - guaranteed OLD.
