I don’t know precisely the year when it was made and who the maker is (has no signature, no manufacturer markings, and no logo), but I do know that it was made in the 60’s, and probably by Viking or Fenton.

Has its body done in a gorgeous red, turning orange at the faceted pedestal, and then transitions into a lighter color that is a beautiful yellow at the base, and ending in a crystal clear color band by the edge of the base.

The main body is wider at the base and becomes narrower as it stretches upwards ending in an oblong transversal mouth opening which edge is rounded and has a different color rim or border around the top opening of about ¼” wide that is in a very pale yellow. Many refer to this shape as a 3 stem bud vase. The pattern on the exterior is wavy outwards, thus creating attractive very elongated tear shape bubbles running vertically.
**** By running ones finger on the base one may feel up to three line mold marks. The base or foot is faceted in 6 wavy panels, and the very edge of the base has a scalloped rosette shape. Very harmonious indeed!
It stands 15" high, and is 3 3/16" in diameter across the base.
The diagonal mouth opening is 5” long.

It’s an original vintage U.S.A. art glass Bud Vase and has been used. Is pretty much clean and it’s even more gorgeous when placed where the light can shine through it. Still, could benefit from some further cleaning on the inside.

Has no chips or cracks, no crazing and no repairs. Has what looks like a very small and mild scratch located on the lip at the top of the mouth opening. It’s heavy weight, and a quality made piece. Certainly a very nice piece for a Collector.

Ships very well wrapped and protected with large bubble wrap, then placed inside a large and sturdy cardboard box reinforced with solid panels of Styrofoam on sides, bottom and top, and filled with Styrofoam beans all around the already bubble wrapped vase.
