 PLEASE READ CLOSELY:THANK YOU:.I am own the business of removing trees for the last 16 years and often come into odd and unusual wood that carvers and turners seem to like. I have sold about 60-75 blocks. What I due is cut them with a chain saw as to just fit in a flat rate priority USPS box. This being the cheapest for weight. The measurements are very close to 5 1/2 X 8 1/2 X 11 inches. I cut the blocks the same day off the log, take pictures and then wrap with stretch wrap to keep moister in and to stop checking. THESE BLOCKS ARE ALWAYS VERY VERY SOLID ,IF NOT GREEN...NO ROT OR PIFF...EXCELLENT FOR WOOD WORKING.Came from same tree as last weeks blocks.

You can go to EBAY ITEM NUMBER: 350059720808 for more picture of THIS block. Okay this was a very big Maple in which the ambrosia beetle(s) got into a couple of the leads and did their thing putting the very odd streaking patterns ALL blocks came from the bottom 15 feet in which there should be no knots, or finger size if any The 11 inch measurement is the up/down direction the tree grew.. Good Luck & NO RESERVE...Sometimes they go for a couple bucks,sometimes almost 40 dollars.
