JEEP- AMC 232-248 6 CYL. engines. Great upgrade for a stock electronic or a points distributor. Will not work with electronic fuel injection.

NOTE: Remember that HEI distributor caps are approximatly 5 1/4 in diameter.  The coil is mounted on top of the distributor cap so the height is greater than a stock AMC distributor, check your manifold and air clearn clearance to be sure this larger distributor will fit your application .                 Please read on...

High performance BLACK cap rotor with brass terminals: After the cap/coil assembly is reinstalled the unit is tested again to make sure that the 50,000 volt coil is firing as it should be.

-This module produces 50% more current than stock units and delivers a much more precise timing signal as well as dwell control.

Tig welded to the top of the shaft is adjustable mechanical advance assembly.

-Includes a unique ignition module and internal coil that are capable of running above 9,000 RPM while Stock and other "performance" modules loose spark energy at about 5,500 RPM.

-The advance assembly features chrome moly weights for timing advance through the entire RPM range.  

-The distributor comes complete and ready to drop in with a high quality rotor and cap with brass terminals for great spark transfer. Simply connect a 12 volt source to the distributor and you're up and running.
