THIS IS A HUGE GORGEOUS AMMONITE FOSSIL PENDANT.   IT IS ADORNED WITH A CLEAR FACETED SMOKEY TOPAZ STONE AND A CREAMY WHITE BAWI PEARL.  IT IS BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED AND SET IN STERLING SILVER.  IT WAS HAND CRAFTED IN INDIA.  THE BACK IS OPEN TO THE OUTSIDE OF THE PERFECT AMMONITE FOSSIL FOR VIEWING.  NOTICE THE VERY INTRICATE HAND MADE STERLING SILVER BAIL, IT IS GORGEOUS IN IT'S SELF AND IT IS HUGE TO ALLOW ALMOST ANY CHAIN OR CHOKER.

THERE IS ONE SMALL DING ABOUT PEN POINT SIZED ON THE SIDE, NOT VERY NOTICABLE AT ALL, BUT I AM KNOCKING 10.00 OF RETAIL PRICE FOR IT.

THE LENGTH  IS:   3 1/8"   LONG INCLUDING THE BAIL.  W/O THE BAIL IT MEASURES A LITTLE OVER 2 1/2" LONG FROM THE TOP OF THE AMMONITE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SMOKEY TOPAZ.  IT IS ABOUT 1 3/8" WIDE AT THE WIDEST POINT ON THE AMMONITE FOSSIL. THE BAIL IS 9MM WIDE AND 10MM LONG.

AMMONITES LIVED IN THE WORLD'S OCEAN'S OVER 415 MILLION YEARS AGO.  THEY ARE NOW EXTINCT AND THEY ARE FOUND IN THE FORM OF FOSSILS.  THE EXTINCTION OF THE AMMONITES COINCIDED WITH THE EXTINCTION OF DINOSAURS.
