Drogin, a medieval calligrapher and teacher of calligraphy, takes us into the medieval world of scribes and how they revered and protected their manuscripts. Book curses trace back to the 39th century B.C.  One from 12th Century A.D. - "Christ's curse upon the crook, who takes away this book." Fascinating and fun book! 138 pages. Pristine copy with no markings. Not ex-library. Proceeds benefit Lancaster PA Public Library.
