ANCIENT: Eerily Howling Winds CD (Sleaszy Rider Records, Greece, 2005).  Excellent condition disc and inlays shipped with new jewel case.

This is the second Best of Ancient compilation released by Greek label Sleaszy Rider in 2005.  This compilation captures the best of Norway's Ancient, from their raw and frostbitten Black Metal period of '92-'94.  Though their style has changed much since these recordings, this disc is proof that they were among the best of the 2nd wave of Norwegian Black Metal bands.

This is a compilation of the "Eerily Howling Winds" demo-tape (tracks 3, 4 and
5) plus early material.
The early version for the song "Paa Evig Vandring" (track 7) which appears here
is the same one which can be found on the "Det Glemte Riket" CD (1999).
