Early Bronze Age Holy Land Pottery

Ca. 2000 BC

This elegant rare amphora storage vessel features a squat round body narrowing at neck with a flared rim.  At the shoulder are two strap handles which terminate just below the lip. 

The pink buff pottery vessel features a punched incised decoration at the rim.

Beautiful Condition--only minor roughness to rim--absolutely no repairs.

Bronze Age, Ca. 2000 BC,

Height: 6-5/8 in. (17 cm).

Width: 6-1/4 in. (16 cm).
