A group of 3 lovely ancient mosaic glass eye beads from the Mediterranean Sea region, dating from what could be called the Byzantine era, about 700 to 1100 AD, more or less. The condition is mostly good, showing great age and wear overall, about 9 x 8 mm in size. The spacer beads are high karat gold sheet over lac or wax. Photographs have been enlarged and may appear larger than the actual size of the objects. Colors may appear differently on the viewer's computer.
