ANCIENT NATIVE AMERICAN
POTTERY SHARD EARRINGS

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

The Anasazi were the ancient ancestors of many Southwestern Native American Indians including the Zuni, Acoma, Peublo, Hopi and maybe even some Navajo peoples. Known as "The Ancient One's," they built and lived in picturesque pueblo cliff dwellings seen as ruins today throughout the American Southwest.

These ancient people were highly proficient in thier clayworks and pottery
techniques, as evidenced by the many fragments of thier work left scattered
in Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah and other area's

Many people believe that when a person creates somthing, they
put a bit of thier spirit into that item. Thier thoughts, hopes, dreams, strength's,
"medicine powers". . . a bit of who they are is sort of recorded within the item
while they are creating it.

It is documented by experts in Native American artifacts that later tribes
often reused found items from ancient times. Arrowheads were often
re-knapped by later tribes, ect.

These genuine ancient black on white Anasazi pottery shards are
"recycled" to be worn as modern adornment along with
genuine turquoise and spongy red coral semi-precious gemstone beads.
What a great way to honor the ancient one's who walked this land
creating and useing this pottery as long as 1200-1500 years ago;
by wearing thier handmade, utilitarian pottery
as beautiful, artful jewelry.

Note as each shard is unique, so is the wrap required to hold each shard.
Each earring is a one-of-a-kind hand crafted peice, partly created by myself,
mostly created by ancient American Indians and the natural forces of
time and the universe.

These handcrafted artisan earrings are 2 3/4" long
from top of earwire.

Perhaps you too will feel the spirit of the Ancient One's
as you touch a peice of the past.

These pottery shards were gathered as surface finds on private
property in Arizona, and collected within state and federal laws.
They were not part of any excavation or exploitation of ruins,
and were not dug from any grave site.

I SHIP QUICKLY;

RECEIVING CLEARED PAYMENT!

NOTE AS PER SHIPPING COSTS;

The postal service charges for weight and size
of package, and distance that is is traveling.
Check your shipping costs BEFORE bidding.
If you have any questions regarding
shipping costs, ASK before bidding.
Do not bicker with me over shipping
charges after you win an auction.

If you buy multiple items from me, Request a
total BEFORE paying, and then wait for my reply.
You will not get poor feedback from me if I ask
you to wait for a total. If you rush to pay before
asking for combined shipping, or if you pay for
each item seperatly, then that is what you will
pay, no if's, ands or buts. It's a lot of trouble to
"untangle and undo" and they never seem to
come out right. Depending on how I would
have to tackle it, paypal may collect a fee from
you for the money sent back to your account

I do pack with considerable care. Rarely do
I have a problem with the U.S. Postal Service.
I am very honest, and I DO
send your items within 2 days of
receiving cleared payment.

Feedback

As you can see from my feedback, rarely do
I have problems with my e-bay transactions.
However, sometimes things happen beyond
my control. Or just due to plain ol' honest
human error. Rather than leaving me
neutral or negative feedback, I'd like a
chance to earn your positive feedback.
And of course I'll leave positive feedback for
you in return. PLEASE contact me if something
is not right with your purchase, shipping,
transaction, item, ect. If I don't know there's
a problem, I can't fix it. If I'm able to correct
it for you, I'd appreciate the positive feedback.

Returns

I do my best to describe all of my items honestly to
the best of my ability. However, I'm not an expert on
most of the items I sell. If you have any questions
or concerns about this item, PLEASE contact me
BEFORE BIDDING to avoid any misunderstandings.
I'll be more than happy to communicate with
you to answer any of your questions honestly.
Returns only if item is grossly misrepresented.
