Desription: Andy Warhol: Portraits of the 70's, lst Edition/lst Printing; published in 1979 by The Whitney Museum/Random House in conjunction with a major exhibition; ed, David Whitney; essay, Robert Rosenblum; 9" x 9 1/4" hardback, antique gold paper boards; spine in black cloth with gold lettering; 112 typically colorful bright pop portraits of movie stars, fashion stars, collectors, art dealers and the Beautiful People; contains list of illustrations, acknowledgements, and photography credits.  Spine is straight and tight; spine head and tail sharp; top corners crisp; bottom corners slightly bumped; bottom edge lightly bumped in small area; interior fresh, bright, unblemished.  Unclipped dust jacket with minor repaired tear on back; some toning top of inside flaps; small amount of wear at corners; some signs of shelf wear, o/w near fine.  FINE/NEAR FINE, thus.
