Jim Thorpe, considered to be one of the finest athletes in American history, is remembered on the second stein in the Sports Legends series.  The illustration highlights this athlete's impressive accoumplishments from his legendary Olympic achievements to his years playing football.  The pewter lid is detailed with a football-shaped thumbrest.  It is 9" tall and it is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or scratches.    Comes in original box.  Made in German by Gerz.
