ANSONIA SHIP BELL STRIKE MARINE CLOCK. 1850's. ORIGINAL

 This is a very beautiful and very rare Ansonia Ship bell strike clock. This is not a common Ansonia, this is an authentic and original Ansonia made in 1950's, this is one of the first Ansonia clock made. All parts are original, genuine, this is not a replica of fake Amsonia, this is an authentic antique Ansonia. Golden movement with bell strike. Movement is "Ansonia Clock Co", marked. All parts of movement are genuine, original. Original dial, never retouched or repainted, there is special arc at twelve for hairspring regulation, it is in order to get a very precise watch working because marine, ship clock must be very precise clocks because the precise time is very necessary to know the exact location of the ship through sextan or similars. The hands are originals too. Bezel is made of solid bronze. Original case made of fine wood, and it is in excellent condition. This is very rare Ansonia. There is special "pull lever"  at ten, to set right bell strike according to right time, in other words with this device you can get time and bell strike together in precise working. Small seconds at twelve, it is rare for Ansonia clocks too. Diamater is: 22 cms, High is: 8 cms.
