ANT ENGLISH PERFUME/SCENT BOTTLE STERLING SILVER PIQUE

Edwardian Era English glass scent or perfume bottle with a sterling silver pique lid.  The lid with its motif of ribbons and flowers set in faux tortoise is the crowing touch to the perfume bottle.  So perfect to mix and match with other bottles and dresser jars for your own personal look.  Hallmarked for the year 1914.

The lid is a screw cap which will help prevent your perfume or cologne from evaporating.

Interesting note for the year 1914:

 In May of the year 1914, the U.S. Congress passed a law to designate the 2nd. Sunday of May as Mother's Day.

Fully hallmarked with; lion passant for sterling, anchor for the assay town of Birmingham and date letter for 1914. Maker's mark ESB.

Measurements 4 inches tall or 10cm.

Condition; a few tiny nicks on the rim of the bottle; these in no way affect the lid and are seen but barely felt.  Top, small scratch shown in shell , when closed tight the design is slightly off-center; small residue of perfume remains in bottle.

Returns accepted; please notify me within 3 days of receipt of item. Shipping fees will be buyers responsibility.  If due to a mistake on my part, return costs will be my responsiblity.  My preference is that you be satisfied with your purchase and I will work toward that goal. The item must be packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. If item is sent with a signature required on delivery it must be returned with signature required.
