Antique English Sterling Silver Solid Silver Bowl

Edwardian Sterling/Solid Silver Pierced Bowl on stepped pedestal base. The bowl most likely had a had a crystal linerat one time. The tapered body of the bowl has pierced work and bright cut engraving. The topped edges are finished with a fluted rim. A round cartouche is blank; perfect for your monogram. Imagine sweets and chocolates peeking through. Add a glass liner and the bowl is ready for a small bouquet of flowers or can serve as a sugar bowl.
Marks; Lion Passant for Sterling, Sword & Sheaves for Chester, Date mark for 1903, Maker's Mark J.J
Condition; very good Size 3 1/2" high X 4 3/4" wide at top, base 2 3/4 inches wide or 9cm high X 12cm at top, base 7cm
Approx. 160grams or approx. 6 troy oz.
