ANT FRENCH MOURNING HAIR ART REMEMBRANCE FOR MOTHER 19C

A beautiful remembrance piece for "Mother" or "Mère".  The mourning hair piece has been skillfully fashioned into a floral work of art. I t is then finished off with a small paper banner bearing its testament to "mother" .  A cherished reminder of a beloved mother.

 I brought this piece back from my last trip to France and England several months ago. It was hard to capture the beauty of the piece in pictures due to accumulated dirt on the glass.  I had not wanted to open the frame; but, finally did open it from the back.  I carefully clean the glass and replaced it.  The silk background is in very good condition as is the hair work.  The only items to note regard the frame; there is a small crack and a small hole.  Both of these are shown enlarged in the pictures above.

Returns accepted; please notify me within 3 days of receipt of item. Shipping fees will be buyers responsiblity.  If due to a mistake on my part, shipping costs will be returned. My preference is that you be satisfied with your purchase and I will work toward that goal. The item must be packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. If item is sent with a signature required on delivery it must be returned with signature required.
