An inclusive study of Patriotism verses Internationalism.
The Anti-Patriots is a chilling reminder of the Communist threat, its aims of achieving world domination, and its three-pronged method of attack -- armed force, terrorism and subversion.
Gar Mowll's unemotional reconstruction of events outlines the progress of Communism since its inception in the early 19th Century, its short term aims in the world arena today, and its long term plans to move against the Western democracies.
Mr Mowll also describes how the Communist threat can be met, challenged and even overcome.
Fictional scenes bring the dry bones of dogma to life: But behind Mr Mowll's reasoning lies a relentless will to probe the Communist ethos, its philosophy, workings and ambitions.
Mr Mowll is no 'wet'. [British slang for "inept or dorky."] He does see 'Reds under the bed'. He wants you to see them too.
His message is clear and urgent: If the West can wake to the danger confronting it, a new national and international unity of purpose could prevent democracy and freedom being engulfed and replaced by a form of feudal slavery far more ruthless than any recorded in civilised history.
Gar Mowll is British to the core but has spent the last twenty-six years living with his wife in the USA.
His childhood was spent in Scotland. Educated at Feltonfleet, Surrey, and Christ's Hospital, Sussex, he joined the Royal Navy as a cadet in 1930. He retired as a captain in 1960.
He met his American wife to be, Shirley, in Havanna when his ship arrived for a five-day visit. Within the five days they were engaged. After the war the family lived near Botley, Hampshire, enjoying typical peacetime village activities. Since 1960 they have lived mainly in Florida.
