ANTIQ MEDICINE BOTTLE: "VAPO-CRESOLENE" 1894, POISON 8"

Up for  SALE  is  this  Wonderful  SCARCE  NM  LIGHT  SAPHIRE  BLUE  POISON  BOTTLE  EMBOSSED: "VAPO-CRESOLENE  CO.;  PAT.D. U.S.  JUL. 17, 94  ENG  JUL. 23, 94",  Medicine / POISON  Bottle in Overall  Excellent  Condition,  with  TOOLED  TOP,  Bubbles,  Stretch Lines in the NECK,  and Mold Lines up to the Shoulder but not up the Neck, etc..  It is  SQUARE  in Shape with Beveled Corners / Edges,  and Stands nearly 8" Tall by 2&1/2+" Square.  It has a very little of 'very light haze' inside of only the 'dated' (pat....94') side/pannel of the bottle, but that should clean out nicely.  There are no cracks,  real chips or repairs, and only 'two tiny issues'- a small, very shallow  -1/8"  'flake-nip' to the center of one side of the neck.  It 'hides' itself so well that I didn't even see it when doing photos & just found it running my hands/fingers around the bottle double-checking for any minor damage.  Also there is a very miniscule little 'ding' to the upper edge of the tooled top ( aprox 1/32nd).  Overall I would call it a Near Mint bottle. This is a very nice antique bottle with nice  Embossing & Prominantly Raised & Pointed Embossed Vertical Columns of 'WARNING  DIAMONDS' on Two Sides Indicating to the owner that it contained POISON.  The idea was that at Night / In The Dark one could 'FEEL' the raised contours reminding the consumer that the bottle contained a Poison and was for 'External Use Only'!  That about does it!  See the photos for the rest of the 'story'.  Please e-mail your questions, corrections or insights long before the sale  is scheduled to end.  As always, I appreciate your input.  Thanks.  This  8 INCH  "VAPO-CRESOLENE  CO."  MEDICINE / POISON  BOTTLE,  shipping carton and packing, will weigh aprox 2 pounds.  Thanks for looking and enjoy the Sale.  Shipping Insurance will be included within the S&H fees.    PLEASE NOTE:  I will be selling a number of pieces from my Bottle Collection over this week and the upcoming weeks, so please watch for other great Medicines, Bottles, Flasks & Fruit Jars.  Thanks for looking and good luck!

RETURN POLICY:  Generally all sales are final, however returns are accepted if it can be shown that I have inaccurately described an item, or if I have unintentionally overlooked damage on the item.  Then I would offer a full refund as long as the item is first returned to me in " original as sold condition".  Of course this would include equally careful packing for the return...  Shipping and Handling fees would not be refunded.  Please e-mail me well before the sale is scheduled to end, with your questions or concerns.  I appreciate your input.  Thanks.

HANDLING FEE: Due to the rise in cost of shipping materials, I now find it necessary to charge buyers a very reasonable small 'Handling Fee'. The fee varies from $1 to $3/pkg depending upon size, weight & amount of materials needed to ship your item safely to you. Also in addition and included in & with that Handling fee, will be Insurance coverage for all breakable / fragile items and/or items selling for over $50.00.

SHIPPING:  Shipping and Handling  fees are to be paid for by the buyer/winning bidder.  I normally ship weekly, usually within 3 to 4 days after the close of the sale & after Payment has been made..  Items shipped within the US are shipped via "USPS Priority Mail", unless otherwise requested. I also ship "USPS Parcel Post", "Media Mail" or "First Class", when appropriate/requested.  Items shipping to locations outside the US will ship via either "USPS First Class Mail International", or "USPS Priority Mail International", unless otherwise requested.  I pack very carefully, but will include insurance in the Handling Fee on all breakable/fragile items, or for items selling for over $50.
