TERRIFIC ANTIQUE MECHANICAL MONKEY DOLL

SQUEAK CYMBAL PLAYER

16" TALL

ABOUT 1880'S

This antique monkey doll is fabulous.  When you press on his chest, he emits a very loud squeak, his arms come together and clang the cymbals, and his mouth opens.  His head is composition and his body, arms and legs are hand carved wood.  He is a large size for this type of doll measuring about 16" tall.  He is in good condition but he does have expected wear to his clothing, some tiny holes, stains, torn lace trim, and the Dresden trim on his shirt and cap is worn and missing on the back.  This toy is very old dating to about 1880s, possibly earlier.  He is not marked but most likely made in Germany.

I will ship the monkey Parcel Post, UPS Ground or Priority at actual cost, whichever is cheapest for you.  He is large and will have to be shipped in an oversize box.  Anything over 12" square is oversized by Post office rules.  I double box all fragile items for safe shipping.
