An Exquisite Victorian Lady's Companion Needlework sewing Box

Leather covered box with coloured gilt tooled decoration, stamped "Lady's Companion"

With fitted items

Leather covered hand mirror, silver back tarnished

A horn note sleeve with a silver twist pencil stamped with the letter M, and end final set with a red stone which unscrews for spare lead compartment

Ornate steel scissors with a leather needle/pin folder

Lift out box containing horn letter opener in the form of a lady's leg

Glass perfume bottle with original glass stopper with a silver screw top. A couple of small chips on the base of the bottle & the lid had a ding to the top

Pink velvet covered pin cushion with gold stitching

Small white metal/brass thimble

Silver tape measure with chased floral decoration. The silk tape has probably lost its metal end and has gone inside the holder

Silver letter opener with raised leaf decoration, stamped on the blade J.Wintor

Silver embossed needle holder with pull off lid in the form of a flower

The leather case has some wear around the the top edge and corners of the base

The case measures 4.25"(10.5cm) tall x 2.5"(6.5cm) & 2"(5cm) in depth
