UP FOR AUCTION IS THIS RARE AND EXQUISITE PIECE OF MEDICAL HISTORY. THIS ANTIQUE, 1870's APOTHECARY SCALE ORIGINALLY BELONGED TO Dr. WALKER OF LaMONTE, MISSOURI AND WAS USED TO MEASURE OUT HIS TREATMENTS FOR THE FOLKS HE TREATED IN HIS TOWNSHIP. 

IT IS IN INCREDIBLE CONDITION, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PHOTOS.  IT EVEN COMES WITH THE ORIGINAL SET OF WEIGHTS (ALTHOUGH THE SMALLEST ONE APPEARS TO BE MISSING).   THE SCALE MEASURES  12 1/2" LONG BY 4 1/2" TALL BY  5 1/2" DEEP.

• For items shipped outside of the United States, shipping will be calculated based on the destination of the package and the delivery service selected.
• Due to continued carelessness of the USPS, insurance is required on all items shipped within the US.  Insurance rates are determined by the winning bid price.
