AN ANTIQUE, ca. 1900, SOLID QUARTERSAWN AND VENEERED QUARTERSAWN OAK BREAKFRONT, TWO PIECE CONSTRUCTION. THE TOP SECTION HAS A DEMI LUNE SHAPED CURIO CABINET, THE DOOR AND SIDES WITH BEVELED CLEAR GLASS LEADED TOGETHER. THE CURIO INTERIOR BACK, THE BACK ABOVE THE FLANKING SHELVES, AND THE PANEL BELOW ARE BEVELED MIRRORS. THE CASE BELOW HAS FOUR DRAWERS FLANKED BY TWO EMPTY DOORED COMPARTMENTS. DOORS AND DRAWERS WITH THE ORIGINAL BRASS HANDLES AND ESCUTCHEONS [ONE DRAWER ESCUTCHEON MISSING.] ALL SEVEN LOCKS PRESENT, INCLUDES KEY. BREAKFRONT ON FOUR SHORT CABRIOLE LEGS WITH CARVED PAW FEET AND ACANTHUS LEAVES. BREAKFRONT MEASURES 5'7" [67"] TALL BY 4'1" [58"] WIDE BY 1'1" [22"] DEEP, THE CURIO INTERIOR 14" DEEP AT CENTER. VERY GOOD CONDITION: ORIGINAL DARK BROWN FINISH, BOARDS WITHOUT CHIPS OR CRACKS, VENEERS WITHOUT DAMAGE OR LOSSES. THE TOP SURFACE OF THE SERVING SPACE HAS A COUPLE FAINT RING SPOTS.
