ANTIQUE 2.29CT NATURAL VIVID RED RUBY & ROSE CUT DIAMONDS ~ FINE SOLID 14K YELLOW GOLD & STERLING SILVER VICTORIAN RING! SIZE 8.25

Presented today for consideration we have an beautiful antique ring that features a natural ruby and genuine old rose cut diamonds. The ring is ornate and designed in Solid unmarked 14K yellow gold and the diamonds are set in solid sterling silver. The ring is hand crafted by a master jeweler and the milgrain edging and detail is still crisp and defined, really nice work!

This ring features an oval faceted cut natural ruby gemstone that measures 9mm X 6mm and is 1.75 carat weight. There is a slight chip on the edge of the gemstone, less than 1mm in length and best seen in photo number two. The Ruby displays good transparency and excellent color. There are inclusions as one might expect from a natural mined from the earth ruby. Securely four prong set in solid 14k yellow gold which adds a nice accent to the color of the ruby. Accenting the ring further are thirty-six genuine and untreated rose cut diamonds. Each diamond is 1.5 points for a total carat weight of 0.54CT. The diamonds are prong set in shinning sterling silver as was done in the Victorian days and it truly works magic on the bright sparkling diamonds. Rose cut diamonds are a rougher cut, faceted on the top and show the best sparkle under candle light. This sweet ring shimmers!

This a wonderful design and the openwork undercarriage fits smooth against the finger. Solid precious metals were used, guaranteed to be a solid 14K yellow gold band and prongs, solid sterling silver top. I love the flow of this ring...trust me, it sparkles at every turn...in any lighting!

This is a vintage ring and it has been used. There is the small chips on the edge of the ruby and one diamond is set crooked. It is completely hand crafted and it is old...NOT NEW. The band has a very slight indentation at the very bottom of the shank where it may have been sized at one time...thus no hallmarks or stamps. The shank is still very thick and strong, just thought I had best mention it. I lightly polished the band and I will leave any polishing on the sterling silver in the new owners hands.

** This ring currently fits a size 8.25 finger and could be sized easily by your local jeweler.

** Weighs a hefty 4.45 Grams.

** Presentation area measures 22mm at the widest top center tapering to 1.7mm at the bottom of the shank and sets up off the finger 6mm.

** There are no hallmarks that I have found, the metal has been thoroughly tested (tested with acid & electronically so as not to damage the ring) and is guaranteed to be as described, solid 14K Yellow Gold and 925 Sterling Silver.

A terrific ring with genuine mined from the earth diamonds and ruby, solid precious metals, truly vintage, hand made with quality craftsmanship, unknown history or origin.
