AN UNUSUAL ANTIQUE, ca. 1920's - 1930's, HAND THROWN BUFF POTTERY VASE, GLAZED IN A THICK MATT BLACK. OVER THE GLAZE THE ARTIST HAS FINELY SPECKLED THE SURFACE WITH GILT, AND DRIPPED FINE STRANDS OF GILT DOWN THE NECK AS ORNAMENT. UNDERSIDE ILLEGIBLY INCISED [AND PARTLY GLAZED OVER] ?DE FE. $15. MEASURES 14-¾" TALL BY 6-¼" DIAMETER. VERY GOOD CONDITION: WITHOUT CRACKS OR CHIPS, CENTER BOTTOM DRILLED FOR A LAMP.
