This auction is for a beautiful, larger antique, bisque head and wood/composition body doll made in Germany in the late 1800s-early 1900s in Germany by Armand Marseille.
**She is approx. 22" (56cm)tall.
**No chips, no rubs, no hairlines, no cracks. Very pretty face, with nice coloring.
**She has rosy cheeks, set blue glass eyes . Open mouth showing her tiny teeth. Thicker, multi-stroke eyebrows and handpainted eyelashes.
**She is incised on the back of her head: "Made in Germany 390n. D.R.G.M. 246/1 A.6.M."
**She has a lovely, long dark brown (almost black)human hair doll wig that has long, beautiful, sausage curls, pulled back with a side part.
**Her antique, composition doll body is a 15 piece jointed doll body. It has been repaired in a few spots and repainted --but is antique. Nice condition for age, elbow joints are replacements. No cracks, no chips.
**Her sweet, Victorian child's off white vintage, drop waist dress is very nice with no damage. It has sewn slots below her middle that the gold ribbon loops through. She has a matching ribbon in her human hair wig. She has a antique undershirt-cotton wool material (a few tiny holes).
**She has nice replacement, vintage white slip.
**Her black stockings and shoes are replacements.
**She is a great dolly for your collection
