Terrific original and antique 8-string mandolin. It measures 23.75" long x 7.75" wide x 6" deep and weighs 1.5 pounds. It has a terrific sound and has a manufacturer's label of "Globe Musical Instrument Co", New York. The neck appears to have some mother of pearl inlay. It is in good condition some some wear and scratches from use, and it is missing one tuning post but has the key, see the photos. This vintage mandolin is offered on auction with No Reserve Price.
