THE PHONE HAD BEEN CONVERTED INTO A LAMP IN THE 1960'S, AS SO MANY OF THEM WERE. THE DIAL WAS REMOVED FOR A SMALL PLANTER TO SET,,,,,,,,, THE PHONE HAD A HIGH SHINE BURNISH FINISH AT ONE TIME, BUT THE BASE SHINE HAS WORN OFF..... I DO BELIVE WITH A DIAL THIS PHONE WILL WORK AGAIN. ALL THE INTERIOR PARTS SEEM TO FUNCTION, THE EAR PIECE IS COMPLETE AND LOOKS GREAT INSIDE. THE DIAL COOULD COME OF MANY TYPES OF PHONES.... NOTICE WHERE THE LAMP WIRE WENT THRU THE TOP. A SMALL BRASS CAP WILL COVER THAT.... THERE IS ONE SMALL EDGE CHIP ON THE MOUTHPIECE, OTHERWISE NO OTHER DAMAGE.....
