THIS SALE IS FOR AN ANTIQUE PAIR OF BINOCULARS FROM MY UNCLE's ESTATE.  THEY ARE MARKED ON THE EYEPIECES--ALESSANDRO DURONI--MILANO.  AS MUCH AS I COULD FIND OUT-ALESSANDRO DURONI WAS AN OPTICAL SCIENTIST IN THE MID 1800's IN MILAN, ITALY.  HE PRIMARILY DEVELOPED CAMERAS.     

THESE BINOCULARS HAVE THE GREEN PATINA, STILL WORK!, AND AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURE--ONE LENS HAS TURNED CLOUDY--BUT IT IS NOT IN THE FIELD OF VISION WHEN LOOKING THROUGH THEM.  THERE IS WEAR ON THE EDGES OF THE EYE PIECES--BUT THEY ARE IN MAGNIFICENT SHAPE FOR THEIR AGE!  THEY ARE 3-1/4" HIGH AND 4-1/4" WIDE.
