ANTIQUE BOTANICAL PRINT-LITHOGRAPH-SUNFLOWER-Crane-1889

Description: This old antique lithograph originates from: 'Flora's Feast, a Fairy's Festival of Flowers, in full color, Penned & Pictured by Walter Crane, published by Cassel & Co. Ltd. London-Paris Melbourne, 1889-1892.

Artists and Engravers: Walter Crane (1845-1915) is a famous English Artist and Illustrator. He was part of the 'Arts and Craft' movement, which found great following on the European continent as well.

Subject: Title: 'The blazing Sunflower, black and bold. Burns yet to win the sunset's gold'. (Helianthus annuus) Fairies and flowers accompanied by a poem.

Condition: Fine; some light age related toning; some marks on rear from removed tape.

Size (in cm): The overall size is ca. 17.6 x 24.8 cm. The image size is ca. 13.5 x 19 cm.
Size (in inch): The overall size is ca. 6.9 x 9.8 inch. The image size is ca. 5.3 x 7.5 inch.

Medium: Colour lithograph (chromolithograph).
