The items which are currently listed, will help offset the ongoing and anticipated costs of rescue work, fostering, supporting our local shelter and local rabbit community. Currently, we are in need of cages for increasing our foster capacity for the upcoming Easter "return rush". In addition, we recently added a Mom and 5 babies to our network, who were due to be euthanized. The babies were born 3/3/08 in the shelter and appear to be in good health so far. They are currently residing with us, in our home, along with our other 5 rescue rabbits awaiting adoption. We recently aquired a fabulous Flemish Giant Boy ! He is the hit of classes and Pet Therapy !!!
An update: the Mom and Babies are doing fine and growing! They participate in local Pet Therapy, that we are involved in with a local Girls Treatment Center. They already have a couple of girls, who are considered to be "at risk", wrapped around their little paws....
