Description: Midwest Estate Buyers is pleased to offer for your consideration a fantastic antique gold filled carved coral brooch and earrings set in it's original box. This set came from an estate in central Indiana and is circa 1876. There's a little note attached on the inside of the box written by the original owner stating that the set was a gift from her father upon her graduation in 1876. What a wonderful little tidbit of information to go along with this set! The brooch is composed of several carved roses and leaves.Each piece was individually wired onto the gold filled finding. There's a jump ring on one side so it can be hung on a chain and worn as a necklace. It measures about 1 1/2" x 1 1/4".I don't see any chips on the coral and it's in very good condition considering it's age but the gold filled finding on the back shows some age and the coral could use a good cleaning. The pin closure works and holds well. The earrings each have a handcarved rose in the center with carved rose leaves. These too have each been individually wired onto the finding. It doesn't look like there are any chips to the coral and the findings are in nice condition but again the coral needs a good cleaning. The earrings are pierced and each one measures 1 1/4" in length and are 1/2" in width. The box is lined with cream colored satin which shows some age and wear but nothing too significant. The box has an appropriate amount of wear for it's age and the little clasp still snaps shut nicely. This is really a wonderful set with so much history! We do not offer buy it now's on our auction's. In order to be fair to our bidders we will not end our auctions early so please do not ask! Step 2 - Shipping: Domestic shipping:I am happy to get your item to the post office within 48 hours after your payment has cleared. I ship products using USPS, therefore it could take up to 14 days for your item to be delivered. I do not have access to recycled packaging supplies and buy them brand new. Therefore I add a small handling charge to help offset my cost. I am in no way making money on inflating shipping charges. I take great pride in careful and thorough wrapping of each item regardless of final auction price. I do not skimp on bubble wrap or peanuts.This ensures your item will arrive safely and undamaged.I do not ship on Saturdays so any item paid for after mail pick up on Friday will ship on Monday. Tracking is included in the shipping price. Local pickup available upon request.
International shipping: I am happy to get your item to the post office within 48 hours after your payment has cleared. I ship products using USPS, therefore International shipping can take up to 30 days for your item to be delivered.I print my international shipping labels online and unfortunately the USPS is not currently offering First Class International shipping to their on-line customers therefore I am forced to charge the flat rate international envelope price of $12.90 for small items.I can however fit up to 5 small jewelry items into one flat rate envelope.You may purchase 1-5 small jewelry items from our store for one flat rate of $12.90.This does not apply to larger or heavier items of course. Please, be aware of your local customs office for details on how you can claim items if your package has been delayed longer than 15 days above normal delivery time. Step 3 - Returns and Refunds: Return Policy - We are proud to offer 100% satisfaction guarantee within reason. - I will accept returns, within 7 days of close of transaction within reason. court It's called "Mistletoe" and has beautiful enameling at the top. The spoon measures 6 1/4" and is gold in color. The Michelsen silver company is in Denmark and they started putting out an annual Christmas spoon starting in 1910. The spoons are sterling and have enameling although the spoons that were manufactured during world war ll have less enameling due to scarce materials.The company hired a new artist each year to design the annual spoon. The craftsmanship is fabulous and these spoons are highly collectible. This spoon was designed by artist Ole Hagen and is signed OH. This spoon is 68 years old but it looks like it could have been bought last week! The condition is amazing! The back is dated and signed A.Michelsen Sterling Denmark. The prices of these beautiful spoons will no doubt rise higher as the holidays approach so bid now and save $$!!
