ANTIQUE CAST IRON REGISTER VENT GRATE ORNATE FACE






Offering an old wall or clock shelf that is made of walnut. i bought this piece at an antique shop and am not sure of its age, old but maybe not 100 years old. In any case it is very nice with a shaped breast board and serpentine shelf that is supported by 2 ornate corbels or brackets. Most of the piece has its original finish but the top was stripped and partially sanded. Measurements are 37 inches wide, 10 1/4 deep and 13 tall. Questions? feel free to ask and thanks for looking.

Shipping is included in the cost of all my items except large items listed as pick up only. I can personally deliver large items at a rate of $1 per loaded mile from zip 17403. I generally ship within 3 days of receipt but i am on call 24/7 and do get a lot of last minute salvage jobs. I get a call and the demolition contractor tells me i have 2 days to strip an entire house. Some large items may take up to 2 weeks to pack and ship.


I accept returns only if there is an error in the description. If i pull an item from a house that i think is original and is later found out to be a reproduction or if i type an incorrect measurement in the description i will take the item back. I do my best to accurately describe an item and any and all damage or problems. Measurements will be within 1/8 of an inch.


My salvage business was born of necessity. I started restoring an 1896 victorian in 1993 and the house had seen better days. I needed doors and staircase parts among other things. I contacted the owners of several buildings scheduled for demolition and bought the salvage rights to get the items i needed for my house and had a lot left over which i sold. 15 years later this is my full time job. I am always looking to buy salvage rights and architectural antiques, finders fees gladly paid.
