~ITEM DETAILS: Have you ever!!?? ... I have not ...but sure glad I did!!! Unbelievable set of the most beautiful hues of purple and blue!! These glasses also feature a 'sexy?' flowy art deco type design on the top of stem holding the cup part. It is a flower with long wavy petals or leaves which reminds me of a Lily of the Valley whose petals are sofly flexible. I honestly dont know if they are true carnival glass (or if there is such a thing? :) but usually I see many more color variation in it but I think its the best way I can describe them. From afar they have a Smokey Blue/Lavender tone to them... up close looking through the heavier Lily shaped flower stem the are a Stunning Cobalt... then if that weren't enough, when holding them to the light... the Richest Amethyst Purple!? I really dont know how better to describe them. Ive taken many pictures to try to show the colors but Im sure they will not be 100% correct... they are only pictures :) but should give you enough of an idea? These have been in my family for a very long time. I believe my Mother said the were her grandmother or gr-grandmothers? The family is Italian, from Italy & I think it was her Grandmother who came over. I dont know if these came with or where they started. There are no marks or names on them anywhere. Excellent condition with one of the small apertif glasses having a rim chip (see pic) that was all I noticed. I may ask to keep that one... just because. High shipping is for xx-careful packaging, Priority mail & insurance.
