Antique China Head Doll

I'm listing this for a client

The owner who is in her 80s has had this doll for a long time and told me it was her mother-in-laws. She 'stands' about 15 & 1/2 inches tall. She comes from a smoke-free home and has a pleasant subtle fragrance. The head/shoulder piece is excellent, the clothes and body have a few issues, but this is evidence of the doll's age. It has been suggested that she dates to the mid to late 1800s. The main issues I see are as follows:

Her right arm appears to have come off and been sewn back on.

Her blouse is faded, mostly in the upper right.
Her undergarments are toned. Some of the toning is blotchy.

There are some loose threads, a worn button hole & a couple rips in the undergarments. The worst of these issues is shown in the pictures.

The thread holding her head and limbs is loose to varying degrees.

Her boots are very worn

Her hair has a couple minor scuffs (very small) and some light oxidation/patina that probably could be cleaned off if desired.

Since she is undressed and the high bidder might wish to make some repairs to the clothing or tighen up some of the sewing of the limbs, I will ship her with her clothes off.

I have taken numerous pictures from many angles. The pictures are taken in sequence as each article of clothing was removed. Sit back, relax, and look closely to judge the condition & value of this beautiful little lady. She is being offered "as-is", so please do not bid until you are confident you will be happy with her.
