ANTIQUE ENGLISH ESTATE SILVER ART NOUVEAU SILVER SMALLS CASKET TRINKET BOX FEATURING AN ELEGANT REPOUSSE INTRICATE DESIGN

SIMPLY STUNNING WITH NO RESERVE 

Recently purchased as part of a private estate sale from London, England.  The opening and closure mechanism is in perfect working order and retains the original vintage latch hardware.  No maker markings that I notice.  English Estate purchased from dated the trinket box circa late 1800's.

Highly decorated repousse design on the silverplate box frame and quite elaborate art noveau florals and vines covering the box.  Wonderful motif and smooth patina.  I couldn't decide on which pictures to edit for the description so I just had to list them all below in order to show the amazing quality of this silver smalls art nouveau box.

Amazing and well-preserved condition with minor age tarnishing which can be seen in my close-up pictures below.  I will leave it to the new owner to clean the tarnish as I don't want to damage the vintage silverplate.  This trinket box is simply exquisite and I purchased several other similar items from the same London estate which shall be listed this week.   

Measurements:  3" in length and 2 1/2" in width.  When lid is opened the box measures 3" in height.

Delightful addition to your antique Art Nouveau silver smalls, trinket box or necessasaires collection.
