ANTIQUE ENGLISH ESTATE VICTORIAN SILVER PILL BOX FEATURING ORNATE GUILLOCHE ENAMEL BIRD MOTIF SURROUNDED BY ELABORATELY DETAILED HAND PAINTED FLORAL DECORATIONS - NEAR PRISTINE CONDITION!

SIMPLY EXQUISITE WITH NO RESERVE 

Recently purchased as part of a private estate sale from London, England.  This early Victorian Silver Guilloche Enamel Hand Painted Bird and Floral Motif Pill Box is in stunning condition and retains original all original decorations.  No maker markings or hallmarks that I notice.  English Estate purchased from dated this Exquisite Silver Guilloche Enamel Rare Motif Pill Box circa early Victorian, circa 1860's.  The estate had it listed as STERLING SILVER Guilloche Enamel Pill Box, but I have not had the metal tested.

Quite ornate and elegant design with original silver engravings surrounding the base of the pill box.  Near pristine in condition with a few minor age-dents and expected age-tarnishing.  The interior of the lid contains a small antique mirror that is intact with no cracks.  The enameling is in near pristine condition with no obvious flaking or discoloration that I notice.  I couldn't decide on which pictures to edit for the description so I just had to list them all below in order to show the amazing quality of this antique Victorian Vanity Guilloche Enamel Pill Box Necessasaire. 

Beautiful and well-preserved condition which can be seen in my close-up pictures below.  This antique Silver Guilloche Enamel pill case is simply beautiful.  The colors of the antique enameling retain their vivid appeal.  Bright florals are enameled on the top of the pill case in rich yellows, greens, blues, whites, reds and oranges.  The center Bird motif is stunning in design and the red enameling on the Bird is still intact.  The lid has a pearlized coating over the enamel which made taking close-up photos a bit difficult, but I think that a few of the pics below in my gallery have shown the rare beauty of this authentic antique Victorian Pill Case.   I purchased several other similar items from the same English estate which shall be listed this week.   

Measurements:  2" in diameter and 1" in depth.
